Lake Spivey Golf Club is certainly focused on golf, it would have to be with three different courses! There are three courses with nine holes each, two of them being original to the club when it was built in 1963 and a third one was added in the late ‘80s. The first two courses names are Lakeside and Hillside, while the third is Clubside. Their names do a good job identifying their locations. The first two courses are very similar and offer classic golf. However, the third course is newer and is a bit more modern with a slightly different style. Because of this, mixing up 18 holes at Lake Spivey Golf Club can be a lot of fun, if not a bit of a challenge.
Another interesting point is that the famous Crenshaw Bentgrass that so many courses use today on their greens was first used by Lake Spivey Golf Club back in 1991. The Bentgrass makes the greens more challenging and requires more skill by the player.
