11-21-2006The Ocean Point residential project in Honolulu, Hawaii is well underway. In fact, the construction phase has moved past the halfway point. At this time, plans to get started on construction of the Hoakalei Resort are getting started.
Planning of the Ocean Point resident project has been going on for over 20 years. When everything is said and done nearly 5,000 multi family and single family homes will be built on more than 1,100 acres. At this point, more than 2,000 of these units are in place, with many people already moving into the area.
The newest neighborhood in the Ocean Point resident project is the Fairway’s Edge. This consists of both townhouses and single family homes that range in price from $500,000 to $900,000.
This new neighborhood is going to be in close proximity to the golf course that is being built in the area. In addition to this championship course, plans to build a beach and yacht club are also in the works. When all of the construction is done, this will make the neighborhood one of the best in the entire state.
Even though the end result is still a few years away, many people are anticipating the day when everything is over. Although construction is not near done on the Fairway’s Edge neighborhood, many people are still looking at the model homes in hopes that they can move in upon completion.
The Ocean Point residential project has been in the making for quite some time. Even though it is only halfway complete, the anticipation is as great as ever. It is safe to say that when the final stage is developed that this will be one of the nicest areas in the state.
