Golf Community Auctioned on Ebay

Here’s a first, Jay Lucas owner of Mallard Point Estates in Lonoke, Arkansas is auctioning the golf community on EBay. Well, why not? We have all heard of strange auction items and in the grand scheme of things, this is pretty tame.

Mallard Point Estates is a 327 acre community with an 18 hole links style golf course featuring a 6,000 square foot clubhouse. Other amenities include fine dining, office space and a pro shop.

Since opening in October 2000, Mallard Point Estates has only 55 occupied lots out of a total 300. The development has been embroiled in controversy ever since the original developer defaulted on loan payments.

All interested parties with at least $3.8 million (which is the opening bid) should visit EBay.
