For those that have allergies and special needs, Highwoods Plantation is now the place for you to be. Brentwood Homes is constructing what has become known as “green homes,” those that are environmentally safe. Not only are the homes environmentally safe and friendly, they are also sealed, so what is out does not have to come in.
The homes are built to Earth Craft specification, which is an environmental program that has been formed by home builders as well as suppliers and even renewable resource groups. There are 50 of these homes planned and Brentwood Homes was the first to sign on. This is exciting news for Highwoods Plantation as well as owners that are looking for environmentally friendly homes in nice areas. This private community is ideal for such homes.
Of course, Brentwood Homes and Hightwoods Plantation are building homes to make money, but it isn’t all about making money. Brentwood Homes has gotten involved because they like the idea of building under the green standard, though they absorb much of the cost associated with this type of building. This type of home is much healthier to live in, and will make many homebuyers repeat Brentwood Homes buyers.
There are several models available, including three larger floor plans. These include the Maclaran which is 2,365 square feet, the Wagner at 2,528 square feet, and the Halston which is 2,547 square feet. Before these larger floor plans were added the largest home was right around 2,100 square feet but consumers were asking for more space.
Current floor plans include a set of two story homes which are the Tanner at 1,689 square feet and the Princeton at 1,937 square feet. The private community also offers ranch style homes which are the Ellington, Hamlin, Westwood, Remley, Ridgewood, and the Sienna offering from 1, 370 square feet to 2,109 square feet.
This gated community offers three and four bedroom homes that are prices from the mid $100,000s to the low $200,000s. Brentwood Homes wants their additions to the private community to offer variety such as a country feel, or simply comfortable living.
Options will be stainless steel kitchen appliances, hardwood floors, granite countertops, and more! The new area will feature not only these beautiful homes but a six foot deep lake that is stocked with fish!
