The Plantation is an exciting new-gated community located just south of Fort Myers, Florida and has been attracting a lot of attention. The most recent news out of The Plantation is the release of the second phase of homes in four neighborhoods. The Plantation has gotten a lot of attention because it boasts beautiful Centex Homes on more than 1,581 acres. The private community actually consists of two distinct communities known as Bridgetown and Somerset.
The new release of homes in The Plantation includes 17 gorgeous estate home sites located in the Grenada series, and 12 carriage style homes in the Barbados series, both of which are located in the Somerset private community. The Plantation will also receive nine estate home sites in the Grenada series and 14 single-family homes in the Trinidad series in the Bridgetown community.
The Grenada series homes will range from just over 2,400 square feet to just over 4,200 square feet with five floor plans to choose from. The Grenada series can come in three, four, and five bedroom homes with three to four bathrooms. All of the homes will have luxury appliances, a security system, and more. The prices on these homes will start in the $400,000s and go well into the $500,000s.
Two floor plans will be offered in the Barbados series carriage homes that are located in Somerset. These quaint carriage homes will range from 1,654 square feet to more than 3,000 square feet. The first level homes will offer two bedrooms with two bathrooms while the second floor plan offers three bedrooms with two and a half bathrooms. Whirlpool appliances, a glass top kitchen range, and solid kitchen countertops are just some of the great features offered.
Not only will new residents benefit from the release of these new homes in The Plantation, there are other amenities that make these communities really special. For instance, Bridgetown residents will be able to take advantage of Bridgetown hall, which offers a fitness center, tennis courts, a beautiful swimming pool and spa as well as gathering areas. Somerset residents will be located near the future 18 hole golf course as well as a golf club house. The homes will range from the mid to high end of the $300,000s.
In the Bridgetown Trinidad series there will be eight floor plans to choose from. The floor plans range from two bedrooms to four bedrooms and two bathrooms to three bathrooms. Two car garages are standard, and square footage ranges from just over 2,000 square feet to 3,538 magnificent square feet. The Trinidad series also comes well equipped with white on white appliances and solid surface countertops.
There is no doubt that these new releases will make excellent additions to The Plantation. As more homes are built and the gated community is completed, it is becoming quite a classy place to live. Tree lined streets and truly magnificent homes are becoming the hallmark of this gated community.
