The Legacy Resort, a $4.1 billion golf community, is underway in Osceola, Florida situated just west of Kissimmee. Total build out time is expect to be 5 years with the finished resort featuring an 18 hole golf course, several planned community neighborhoods, a convention hotel, retail space, restaurants and an ecotourism center.
The hotel alone will sit on a 140 acres parcel. Co-developers of the 1,400 acre resort are US Homes (a subsidiary of Lennar), ICI and Sumner Kramer Investments Inc.
The Legacy Resort’s planned communities will be subdivided among the three investors. US Homes has committed to developing 90 acres with approximately 1,000 town homes and condos requiring a $400 million investment. The neighborhood will be designed around a nautical theme and will include first-class planned community services and amenities.
ICI Homes has plans to build 850 town home and condo units in five-story structures on a 100 acre parcel of land. The multi-generational development will include a 30,000 square foot clubhouse, pool, spa and other lifestyle amenities.
The town homes and condos will be fractional properties enabling home buyers to acquire full to part ownership.
Summer Kramer Investments will plunge at least $200 into the project and has plans to build 700 town home and condo units on 61 acres.
