Like many places in the United States, Northern Virginia has become quite familiar with private golf communities. Many of those that buy in these gated communities love golf or simply like to look at beautiful golf fairways. There is no doubt that these gated communities provide outstanding recreational amenities as well as a peaceful country club setting that appeals to many. In Northern Virginia there are golf communities all over, including in Loudoun and Prince William counties.
Just twenty minutes from the Potomac River is the beautiful Belmont Bay community. This private community is gorgeous and was designed to look like a historic harbor town, which endears many to the community right away. Belmont Bay is full of great amenities such as a golf course, clubhouse, marina, restaurants planned for the future, shops, hotel, a conference room, as well as office space.
A national wildlife refuge is next to the development, so there will be no noisy neighbors going up next to this private community in the future. Comstock Homebuilding offers condominiums that are priced from $400,000 to over $500,000. Miller and Smith is also building and offers garage town homes with awesome rooftop terraces with prices starting in the mid $600,000s!
The Belmont Country Club is another outstanding golf community in Loudoun County and is home to 2,157 different home sites. The country club is home to the Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course and attracts many. The Belmont Country Club is also home to the Manor House, a historic home that was built in 1799.
The club also provides a great clubhouse with rooftop dining, social gatherings, and a fitness facility. Residents also have access to swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, and even a volleyball pit. Homes are available from $300,000 to more than one million dollars! For more information interested parties can visit the Belmont Country Club website.
