The developing community around Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa in Birmingham, Alabama combines old world charm with architectural integrity, and the result is a pleasing town with timeless beauty. It is no surprise that people are attracted to this community, which will eventually feature a town center with commercial developments and several neighborhood areas, along with the already existing golf course and spa.
Upon completion, the development will have more than 1,800 houses. A dozen different building companies will be working to create the different neighborhoods. Signature Homes has built 100 to date, and the company plans on building another 200 in the near future. The homes are selling so well that Signature Homes will relocate its offices from Pelham to Ross Bridge in fall 2006 in order to be nearer to its successful new projects.
The Signature Home offices will be located next to the Ross Bridge Welcome Center, which is the cornerstone of the town center. With its train-depot style stone façade, wood floors and stone paths, the welcome center has greeted many visitors since it opened in July. Daniel Corp., developer of Signature Homes, has written over 150 contracts since the opening of the welcome center, and expects the homes to be swept up quickly. New tenants can look forward to new restaurants, shops and service-oriented businesses popping up as the community gathers more patrons.
Village Homes, one of the building companies of Ross Bridge, is developing golf course lots. They recently put eight of their homes up for sale, and all of them were immediately under contract.
The first residents in Ross Bridge will move into the Abbeyglen and Greenside communities. Abbyglen is one of two communities that will be built by HPH Properties LLC, and will feature 97 garden style homes ranging from $220,000 to $300,000. Of the 70 houses released for sale, every single one of them has been purchased.
Located near downtown Hoover, which includes the award-winning Hoover School district, and with easy access to Interstate 459, the community at Ross Bridge offers family friendly convenience with classic style homes and neighborhood safety. With all these features, it is no wonder that these homes are being snapped up more quickly than they are being built.
