The owner of the Willow Creek Golf Club and Driving Range plans to rezone the land that the course is built on, and in turn begin to develop home sites in the area. He is hoping to get permission to build over 200 condos, 60 triplexes, and 50 single family homes in a wooded area that surrounds the golf course. The zoning commission will hear what the owner has to say at the end of March, and then decide on the fate of the Willow Creek Golf Club and Driving Range.
The Willow Creek Golf Club and Driving Range is located on 173 acres, and is currently zoned for both rural and agricultural uses.
Not only are owners interested in building housing at the Willow Creek Golf Club and Driving Range, but they also want to make it a community that people will be excited to live in. This will include features such as a community center, meeting rooms, a fitness room, and much more.
The nice thing about this proposed idea is that the golf course and roads that run through and around the land will not have to be altered in any way. Not only would this be advantageous to the Willow Creek Golf Club and Driving Range, but it is also a selling point when dealing with the zoning commission.
All in all, if the owner of the Willow Creek Golf Club and Driving Range gets permission to move forward another golf community will begin construction soon. Plans for this one are big, and it will be interesting to see if the plan works out as expected.
